Iku Kageyama is from Tokyo, Japan. Currently, She lives in CA, The United  States.

She started working as a professional photographer in 2003 and she changed her photo professionalism from Japan to The United States and France in 2007. Her father, Masao Kageyama was also a professional photographer, and he encouraged her to pursue photography. Her mother was a fashion designer, and Iku’s interest in fashion was influenced by her mother.

She had focused on art activities from 2007 to 2012, and she was awarded Grand-Prize in PDN THE LOOK contest (International Fashion Photo contest)2012, and other several awards.
She affiliates with Galerie ElizabethCouturier in Lyon, Galerie Debruille in Paris, and AZIART in Lille, France.

As a commercial photographer, she works for advertisement agencies and editorials.
She likes to travel, movies, yoga, and also she loves animals and plants.

Creating an image of the world, finding a perfect vision of light,
capturing emotion and motion. A Photograph shows only what you can see.
I try to make it also express something you can not see, but can feel.
